Green light days feel good
What if you could track homeschool progress without judgment—just clarity?

I’ve asked myself that more times than I can count—especially in the summer. We go on a field trip, have a deep conversation over lunch, build something, read something… and by Friday? It’s all a blur.
That’s why I started building something small, just for us:
📱 Homeschool Habit — a lightweight mobile app to track what actually happened each day.
No planner. No pressure. Just:
Tap a subject
Check what you covered
Optional: Add a note or photo for more details
The app isn’t out yet, but we’re opening a waitlist to gauge interest. If you’ve ever wanted a simpler way to log learning—especially for documenting or year-end reports—this might be the thing.
👉 Get Early Access
(It’s free. Just helps me know who’s interested!)

And if you’re already in summer mode, this counts too: log “poolside reading,” “bug hunt,” or “asked 27 questions about clouds.” Because it all adds up.
The Learning Bundle: Traffic Lights
This traffic lights themed bundle includes videos, thinking prompts, creative writing, and a parent guide to help you turn curiosity into learning.
📺 Watch & Think Playlist (Total time: ~16 min)

Included Videos:
🚥 History of The Traffic Light (4 min)
🚦 How Do Traffic Lights Know When to Switch Signals? (9 min)
🚗 Why Are Traffic Lights Red, Yellow & Green? (6 min)
💬 Would You Rather?
Fun prompts to discuss aloud or write about:
Would you rather design a brand-new traffic light system or improve the one we already have? Why?
Would you rather live in a world where all traffic lights are replaced by roundabouts or where flying cars manage their own traffic? Why?
Would you rather follow traffic lights that use shapes instead of colors or ones that speak instructions aloud? Why?
⚖️ One-Minute Debate Topics
Pick one and defend your opinion:
Should traffic light systems be replaced by smart, AI-powered traffic management systems? Defend your opinion.
Is red the best color for 'STOP' or should another more visible color be used instead? Why or why not?
Should all countries be required to use the same color traffic signals to reduce confusion for global travelers?
🏗️ Bonus Challenge!
The next time you walk or drive around your neighborhood, observe three different traffic lights. Write down what you notice about their visibility, colors, and placement. Could they be improved? How?
✍️ Writing Challenge
Use one of these prompts to spark creativity — out loud or on paper.
Elementary:
What would happen if traffic lights could talk to drivers? Write a silly conversation between a driver and a bossy traffic light.
Middle School:
Design a new kind of traffic signal for flying cars in the future. What would it look like, and how would drivers know what to do?
High School:
Write a short narrative from the perspective of a traffic light. What does it see every day? How does it feel about its job?

💡 Tip: These prompts also work as discussion starters — no pen or printer required. Mix age levels based on your child’s energy or interest.
